Bacon jelly burger and fries were delicious! Philly cheese steak had tasty meat but lacked cheese, peppers had a bitter taste that threw me off the taste of the sandwich.

I had seen this place show up in online searches previously, but their business hours made a visit more difficult for us. They are open Monday - Friday only. That's not a complaint, but it does mean that we don't have the option of stopping by on a weekend. We had not had Italian food lately, so we opted to make the 40-minute drive to Griffin one Friday. As far as I know, the restaurant has no dedicated parking lot. It is on a corner in the heart of downtown Griffin. However, there seemed to be ample on-street parking within a block or two, so that was no issue. We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and were seated. The place definitely has a well-worn, been-there-a-long-time vibe (in a good way). Most of the diners appeared to be locals. Our server was friendly and gave us time to peruse the extensive menu. There was a lot to choose from. I think I got a vegetable-based ravioli (mushroom or spinach). I think my wife opted for a chicken / pasta dish. Both were good and we ended up with leftovers to take home. They provided free bread to start with, but this didn't seem like true garlic bread that I might have expected. They gave you a lot of it, though. The meal was Italian food but adapted a bit to tastes in central Georgia. It wasn't generic like some chain restaurants, though. Given the logistics of dining here (for me), I doubt that I'll go back regularly. However, if I were in the area on a weekday, I'd consider a return visit.

Amazing authentic Italian options (lasagna, eggplant and chicken Parmesan etc)! The Mediterranean pizza is the best I've ever had! I can't recommend it enough!

Awesome food. Loved everything I've ordered. I live in Stockbridge but look for reasons to go to griffin just to eat there.
